What you can do with Spendpoint

Spendpoint is your expense ledger, kept by your assistant. Show it a receipt and it records what is printed: the merchant, the date, the total, every line, the VAT, the currency, how you paid. Nothing is retyped and nothing is summarised, and the ledger is yours to read, report on and export whenever you like.

Record a receipt
Say "log this receipt" with a photo, a screenshot or a forwarded email. Your assistant reads it, tells you what it is about to record and which category it chose, and asks when it is not sure. Receipts in any language work. If the same receipt turns up twice, you are asked before it is recorded again.
Try: "Log this receipt." "This one is groceries." "Log these three."

Fix a mistake
Say what was wrong and your assistant replaces the entry with a corrected one; the original stays on record. An entry logged by mistake can be voided, and a void can be undone.
Try: "That was meals, not groceries." "Void the last one, I logged it twice." "Bring back the one I voided yesterday."

Know what you spent
Ask in plain words. The sums are computed by the service, never by the assistant.
Try: "What did I spend on groceries this month?" "Total for October in dirhams." "Show me everything from Carrefour." "Which merchants cost the most this year?"

Keep to a budget
Set a monthly budget per category. Every receipt recorded comes back with how the month stands against the budgets it touched: spent, remaining and the percentage used. Budgets are reported, never enforced.
Try: "Set a budget of 2,000 dirhams a month for meals." "How am I doing against my budgets?" "Remove the groceries budget."

Claim it back
Mark a purchase as claimable when it is for work or a client, claimed when you have put the claim in, and paid when the money came back. Group receipts under a trip or a project with a label.
Try: "This is claimable, for the Stockholm trip." "Everything still claimable from Stockholm." "Mark those as paid."

Your own categories
Seventeen categories to start with. Add your own, change what one means, retire one you never use.
Try: "Add a category for pets." "What categories do I have?"

Your data
Export the whole ledger as JSON or CSV. See which assistants are connected and disconnect one. Your account page at spendpoint.ai lets you reset your password or leave, and leaving removes everything at once.

What is new
26 October 2026: a voided entry can be brought back; monthly budgets per category, with the standing in every receipt recorded; reimbursement states and labels for trips and projects; the receipt number, the merchant's tax number, the payment method, the time and the VAT summary per rate are kept when printed; receipts in any language.
